One of the most confusing and aggravating aspects of medical care is dealing with insurance coverage. We make every effort to make this process as uncomplicated as possible by working with our patients, their insurance companies and referring physicians in a timely and efficient manner. Our billing department is always willing to answer questions regarding your account as well as attempt to answer questions you may have about insurance coverage and the billing process. Ultimately, it is the patient’s responsibility to know his or her own insurance coverage.
Private Insurance
Patients with private insurance must present their insurance information as accurately as possible prior to their appointment in order for the office to determine whether or not your visit will be covered. Please contact the office manager if we are out of network on your insurance plan to discuss our current policy. All co-payments are due at the time of service.
Worker’s Compensation Insurance
We are currently accepting patients who have experienced an injury on the job with or without private insurance coverage. All visits must have prior authorization from the workers compensation insurance and, should the claim be denied, the charges are ultimately the patient’s responsibility. Please present private insurance and attorney information at your first appointment, if available.
Automobile Insurance
We are currently accepting patients who have been involved in an automobile accident. We do not accept private insurance when an automobile accident has taken place and a settlement is in process. If your claim is currently closed and is being handled by an attorney, a deposit and letter of protection will be required to secure your appointment time. Please present attorney information at the time of your appointment.
Uninsured Medical Care
For those individuals who do not possess any form of medical insurance coverage, our office honors a discounted rate in conjunction with a deposit that must be made upon arrival to the first appointment. Please contact the office for further details.
