Omar J. Gonzalez PA-C joined Kellogg Brain and Spine in January of 2018. Omar completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College School of Health Sciences in Manhattan, New York. He is Board Certified in the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Omar has more than 8 years of Orthopedics and Neurosurgery experience in the role of Physician Assistant. In addition to that, Omar served 6 years in the US Army Medical Corp as a Medical/Pharmacy Specialist where he earned the Army Commendation Medal and the Soldier of the Year at Madigan Medical Center. Omar is fluent in Spanish and English. When Omar is not seeing patient’s, he enjoys spending time with his two sons, traveling, cooking, watching sports, and adding to his crazy sock collection.
Sonya Dailey joined the practice in 2015. Sonya graduated from Apollo College in 1997 with a certification in Dental Assisting. She moved to Oregon with her husband and two sons in 2002 from Phoenix, Arizona. Sonya currently serves as our Front Office Specialist and Billing Clerk. Her many tasks include Insurance Billing, Collections, Scanning, Scheduling and Coordinating patient care. Sonya is currently taking classes to become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. She is a wonderful asset to our practice and is very customer service oriented. When Sonya is not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and traveling.
Jackie Sena joined the practice in 2014. Jackie graduated from Concorde Career College in 2012 with certificate in Medical Assisting. She previously worked as a Dental Assistant at Dr. Warf Family Dentistry, and as Front Office Lead/ Medical Assistant for Concentra Urgent Care Centers. Jackie’s wide-ranging skills include patient-flow coordinating, customer service, patient vital signs, and obtaining health histories. Jackie is also CPR and HIPAA certified.
Jackie currently serves as the Surgery Coordinator and Certified Medical Assistant for Dr. Kellogg and Omar. Jackie’s communication skills and work ethic strongly contribute to the running of the practice. Her many tasks include coordinating outgoing referrals, scheduling surgeries, and obtaining insurance authorizations. She is very active in her church’s Women’s Ministry, serving on the women’s board, and acting as a ministry event coordinator.
Bahama Sena recently joined the practice and is currently working as our Scheduler. Her many duties are answering phones, scheduling appointments, Insurance Verification, and Medical Records Custodian. Bahama is active in her Young Adult Ministry at church and she is the ministry leader for her churches coffee shop. When Bahama is not at work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
